Sometimes Behre displays in games a certain set of skills that is beyond any other present Barnsley player. Most times he doesn't. Which is most frustrating.
I bought the iFollow 24 hour pass to watch the game tonight. Apparently that means I can watch the whole game again if I want. I won't, I'll go to bed tonight and work all day tomorrow and by the time I get home it will have expired. If you're not busy (I'm sure you are and you've got better things to do) I'll PM you my login details so you can watch it back. I don't pick on a player for no reason. He was shocking tonight.
I'm not accusing you of picking on a player. I also watched on ifollow. And I'm also too busy and have better things to do than watch the game back. I also find your reaction a tad dramatic! All I'm accusing you of is over exaggerating. But if you stand by the fact that you've never seen a worse performance from a Barnsley player than Bahre's tonight then fair enough. But I reckon I've seen worse performances this season from our players.
Bahre was better against Accrington. He was dropping deeper and had more time on the ball. The conditions were terrible today & non of our midfielders totally got to grips with it. We were also up against a better team obviously as well. I'm not sure if he is totally suited to English football. Think he would do better in France or Spain, where the pace is slower. Maybe Nice may sign him at the end of the season. He might do well there. He has skills, but he does give the ball away a lot & gets a nose bleed if he gets near the penalty area.
Imho, he was poor but the worst in reds shirt? I dont think he will play or start friday, two games per week not in his remit. Still think hes class and hes still early in his development.
Think Victor might get the nod versus Donny. Did OK when he came on. Cauley plays better with Moore, as his movement creates space. Bahre doesn't do that, he sprays balls about & controls the ball well in tight spaces, but Cauley has either to drop deep of be back to goal, which isn't his game.
Got to say I agree. Charlton and last saturday aside, he’s been regularly piss poor, with the odd turn on the half way line thrown in. A number 10 with no goals and 2 assists is it? And to think we got rid of Moncur and Mallan...
Victor looked like he has been in the gym a lot since I saw him last . His body strength kept that big centre half at bay . Maybe time for more minutes .
Once Brown and McGeehan are back, Bahre won't be regular first choice. He's in a small group of players that aren't consistent enough to hold down a place. Moncur was just the same, and it seems he's a bit out of favour with Luton already. Majority of team picks itself when fit. Bahre displays some lovely skill on the ball, but until he starts passing to his own players more regularly he'll not be a regular starter.
Ray McHale. So bad on one evening at Oakwell that the whole ground chanted obscenities at him until he was subbed.
