Two games played, he's done ok. Waaaay too early to make a judgement on how good he's going to be.

Exactly this. OP talks about potential and we get a pile on of "yeah but he wor ***** last neet". Why, is it a pathological desire so you can say "Ah said he wor *****" later if it doesn't work out for the lad. Baffling.

I thought he did quite well in the 1st half, was well off the pace in the 2nd and was rightly hauled off. There's a player in there. For people to say he was awful is a little bit drastic.

No sign of the pace we were promised, and in my opinion should be in the development squad, not first team.

Whilst he may be quick of foot he isn't as sharp of mind. My concern mainly would be with him on the right when Cavare is at full back. He needs to be aware that when Cavare goes charging forward and gets caught in possession he needs to use that pace to get back because Cavare certainly won't.

Poor game last night. Cant remember him having even one burst of pace. He was knocked off the ball too easily and if he had been a bit more aware of a pass I don't think we would have given away so many throw ins.

No ones, judging him on what he's going to be, but last night Williams was better when he came on, I guess we make a decision - do we play someone who is more effective now while we try and get promotion or play someone who might be better later? I know which one I'd plum for.
