Thought Bähre was arguably motm on Saturday but gave the ball away far too often last night. Think there’s a good player there somewhere.

Let’s not forget he’s only a young (ish) lad with little experience playing in games of that importance. He should be used to Saturday-Tuesday fixtures now though, that’s not an excuse.

That about him not coming off at half time because he’s German is nonsense mind.

I was worried at the start of the week about the Donny game. Could be a game too far for our pressing game and our stretched squad.

My opinion about last night is that had any of our 3 missing players been in the team last night, we’d have won. Brown would have anticipated a lot more of the through balls and we’d have played 10 yard further forward, again McGeehan would have driven us further up the field and exposed a poor Sunderland defence.
Moore is obviously our top scorer and makes loads of room for Woodrow.
Such is life though and we are poised for an interesting run in

Obviously from a thread I started I'm a Barhre fan but last night he wasn't at his best. Unfortunately for us we missed the 3 players unavailable and as much as I liked the look of Callum Styles I don't think the game yesterday would have suited him. Sunderland have a wealth of experience and Leadbetter reffed much of the game. Last night was where we could have done with an old head to combat that but fair play to the excellent Mowatt and Dougall who never sherked a challenge or took a backward step. Overall I thought we were the better team and at this stage a point is of more use to us than them.

Yes -the board is about opinions. Yes - everyone is entitled to post their views and criticisms. However, coming on here posting that player A or Player B is "crap" adds nothing!.
Constructive comments and opinions (as posted by most on here do) some of which are contentious at least make for a debate. Simply call ing a player "crap" does not!.
In this specific case, Bahre (a player I like and think will improve) had a stinker last night. Too many passes played to the opposition, He was far oo easily dispossessed by a single player (strange given how often he turns comes away or gets a pass off when he has two or even three players round him in some other games).
Consistency and fitness are his current weakness I believe. He is not yet up to the speed of the English game but I genuinely believe he will come good. As for those saying Green was rubbish last night.. were they watching the same game as me? Young lad up against experienced defenders. Running at them he caused them no end of problems.
    Opinions eh!!

    Think that sums it up.

I agree, Stendell fetched Bahre here and has given him more than enough chances to show us what he brings to the party, but I think he`s booked a juggler.

Other young inexperienced lads are not getting a chance because of Stendell prayin Bahre will come good. 15 min sub at best at the mo..

People will not appreciate how important players like Dougal are and a lot of their good work is done without the ball.

With regards Dougall, how many of their attacks came through the middle? Can't remember any. Most of it came down the flanks, specifically McGeady.

It would suggest that Dougall bottled the middle of the park up.
