Donny is a bigger match than the Sunderland game was because we play first and it's the next game. One game at a time. We'll need to be on our metal on Friday. I'd take a draw if offered. However, now we've played all the so called big boys a draw would be back to square one if Sunderland win. Games are becoming must win now.
So how are the old chicken bones, celery, carrot and onion doing? Simmering nicely?? Don't forget to add the black peppercorns and a Bay leaf or two - they make all the difference!
Wish that hadn`t been posted now! Might sound daft but I`ve looked at it and made a case for Sunderland winning all their games to the end of the season. Please say it they won`t
Beat Donny Friday we would go 7 points clear of Sunderland I know they would have 2 games in hand but it piles the pressure on then to win. I'd much rather have the points on the board than games in hand.
Let's be honest every game is a cup final for all the top 10. I would say Sunderland's look the toughest. Every team they play are scrapping for either a play off spot or to avoid relegation. We've just got to ensure we atleast match if not beat each their result. Can you imagine going into the last match four points clear of the third placed team.
Hmmm, there isn't a team in the league that has nothing to play for at the moment. There might be in 2-3 weeks but everyone could go down or reach 6th as it stands.
I'm usually pretty cautious, but I just don't see where we're going to drop very many points there after a very tough game on Friday (which we're still well capable of winning).
