My mate runs an away friendly pub in the centre of Doncaster.

He mentioned to me, that they are more than happy to accept BFC fans tonight.

It’s bang next to the train station and about a 15 minute walk to the ground.

It sells real ales and lagers at a reasonable price in a good location.

The pub is called The Leopard.

At least one and a half miles to the ground and google maps shows between 30 and 40 minute walk, and that’s if you don’t take a wrong turn

Sounds awesome. Pity there's no direct flight from St Petersburg to Donny. Got some quality ales in to get me through tonight!

Apparently you can walk over the fields. Only going on what he told me when I was in there last week.

It'll probably take just as long with all of that weaving in and out of the caravans.

I think it’s been renovated. It’s a pretty cool real ale place now. It’s actually owned by the council. My Mate runs all the council bars and establishments including the dome etc.

Be aware though it's very close to their (the idiots who like to scuffle) pub the Paris Gate, so you might have to be on your guard. It might also be full of dead beats as the corporation taps where they usually go is currently closed and the leopard the nearest pub

A decent option would be the three horse shoes by the side of the old North bridge just as you near the town centre

    Live in donny.

Leopard will be fine, but it’s not a fifteen minute walk to lakeside from there. The railway is another on the same street, closer to the station, will have some decent ale on. Bit rough maybe but can’t see that bothering most.

Three horse shoes? Wouldn’t go in there if I was being paid to.

If you’re in the town centre, try number fifteen on the high street, otherwise the Wetherspoons (red lion in the market, gate house priory walk) are decent bets.

The tut and shive is a decent old fashioned boozer but is even closer to paris gate than the leopard is - at least there’s the main road between Paris gate and leopard.

Yorkshire grey and the rest further up high street, and whatever is open on silver street, probably not.

There’s always the beefeater gaffe on lakeside round from the ground too.

Haha neither would I and it's only round corner from our house but it's on route for those coming in via Sprotbrough or York road and they'll be no bother with it being away from centre
