Completely pointless and acts as no deterrent whatsoever

Exactly. Any chance they could drop into relegation zone?

Does nothing. Had it been taken last season, when they benefitted, we would currently be a championship team.

They drop from 13th to 18th, five points above the drop zone.

More points for the Grealish incident otherwise it has no effect.

They weren’t going to make the playoffs anyway, and nine points won’t push them close enough to relegation to worry them.

    Another deduction might.

Thought it was an automatic 12 point deduction for breaching transfer embargo

Expecting them to look at this again in the morning and it result in a further 3 game ban for Mcgeehan.

So nothings been done then. Severely breaking FA rules/cheating and being deducted.... 3 wins o_O

WSB should start doing a "FA from the FA" comic strip thing. (Fack Aps from the FA)

You have to wonder had it been a small club like sayRotherham or Luton whether the penalty would have been less than the mandatory 12 points . In fact it wasnt when it was luton it was an effective 2 division relegation and didnt rotherham have something like a 35 point deduction one year

When a racehorse is being eased down by a jockey when it's in front and the chasing pack catch it and beat it on the line after the jockey has frantically tried to get it going again. Nine times out of ten it's because the horse thinks **** it you've had you're pound of flesh I was willing to go before now I'm downing tools like you asked me to.

The same goes with football. Those Birmingham City footballers were one foot on the beach enjoying their summer holidays. Now they've got to fight a relegation battle. Yes they are professional footballers but they have to gee themselves back up again. It isn't an easy thing to do.

Seven of their remaining opponents have something to play for.

Promotion: West Brom, Derby, Chedfield United and Leeds.

Avoiding relegation: Rotherham, Wigan and Reading.

Their other game is the long-dead Ipswich.

I sort of hope they come down but if they do and we don't go up we'll no doubt have to compete with them as they cheat in Division One just like they have in the Championship.

Pathetic - no proper punishment for flouting the rules
