One goal in seven games Not good enough He doesn’t work hard enough He’s not a team player He too light weight Time for Brown and Victor to have a go up front
Nope. Problem is he’s isolated - and service into him is quite poor. As said earlier - we are winning because of our defence - our attack in last third is lacking and not brave enough.
He’s not a lone striker, never has been. It’s an unfortunate series of circumstances. I assume the club expected Victor to improve more than he has.
Why is it rubbish???? We need a plan B If Victor not good enough as a lot of fans keep saying why did we sign him ? It’s just not working for C Woodrow at the moment but I hope it does SOON
Woodrow is working his socks off and lone striker or not will score. Came so close again today. I'm assuming the op is some rubbish attempt at humour?
Of course he’s better up too with Kieffer, many strikers are better when there’s a big lump next to them taking attention of the centre backs. Cauley is class though and the best finisher at the club bar none. Yes, a dry patch currently but I’ve every confidence he’ll grab some vital goals before the season is out.
In the 88th minute he was trying to cross a ball into our non existent strike force. That’s what’s wrong at the moment.
Woodrow is far too good for league one. But he misses a presence upfront with him, I'd be tempted to give Ryan Hedges aago up top with him just to see what happens. I remember Tom Bradshaw getting slagged off on here and just remember he had to play up front on his own in the league higher than this one .
Thanks for the information pal But he played a lot for different youth teams .also the people who were on sky said there was a lot of championship clubs looking at before we got him .So there must be some talent in him give the lad a CHANCE
Woodrow is class but isn't a lone striker. We gambled in January that Moore and Woodrow would be able to play every game to the end of the season and due to a very unfortunate injury that fanciful gamble hasn't worked out. So Woodrow is running his blood to water every week in a role that doesn't get the best out of him. He probably would benefit from a rest, but Victor is not ready for this level of football and both Brown and Thiam are our first choice wingers, so Woodrow has to play. Every game. Which is a concern.
