Just out of interest, how many players contracts are up this summer and how many of them would you give new ones to? Would you buy Bahre at the end of his loan? I think we have an option to buy on his loan.
I think just Davies out of contract this summer. I’d leave it to Stendil about Bähre if he wants him they should oblige imo. I personally think there’s s player there maybe better in Championship and twelve months of settling into a new country . I’d try to retain all the squad and add obviously but it sounds as though Lyndsey’s off .

Looks like we have the option of extending Cavares contract for another year. This was posted in August 2017 22-year-old full-back arrives at Oakwell on an initial two-year deal! We can today confirm the signing of Dimitri Cavaré from French Ligue 1 side, Stade Rennais FC. He joins the Club for an undisclosed fee on a two-year contract with a one year option in the Club’s favour, subject to international clearance.
I think Cavare is critical to the way we play and we should make every effort to sign him on to a longer contract He has his flaws but those can be worked on but he is so important to pushing us up the pitch
Davies Hedges and Jackson are the only ones I can think of. Undecided on whether we should make Bahre permanent but will trust the managers judgement on that
I hope so. There are undoubtedly some weak areas in his game, but nothing that couldn't be improved with coaching. Speculate to accumulate, and all that.
Yes would be good to get cavare on a longer deal been great since stendel dropped him. At one point a poster on here kept referring to him as the worst barnsley full back ever and another said we shut get rid asap. Be interesting to see if super tyke and dannywilsonslovechild have changed their minds.
