Hope it's like the blue oyster bar and we can dance with the away fans.

There better be a huge section for those of us who pay the extra "tax" on being a top super fan. With staff serving me my beer and referring to us all as "my lord" "my lady" as we will be recognisable from other fans I'm assuming we will all be giving a sash to wear so that should keep the poor people away from us.

Don’t get why everyone hates change so much, a fan zone is such a good idea and forward thinking, have you not seen how good to fan zones are at Wembley? So good for the atmosphere and social integration of the club.

It seems to me that this big beer tent is going to make Oakwell a very rowdy place.

Imho, we need to be a little open minded about this, I hear other clubs do ....and have claimed it a massive success.
man city and Liverpool have local live bands on with theirs and it's a sign that the club are forward thinking in their attempts to get us to oakwell and spend some of hard earned at the club and feel the "atmos" more (like our Wembley experience).
If people wanna turn up at five to 3 and are generally not bothered to experience the fan zone, so be it.
The " I wanna be entertained by the players on the pitch" attitude is fine but at least the owners are trying something different.
I personally think it's a great idea, to try out, I would also have large "proper" tv screens at both ends if the ground too, like lots of other clubs.
    Well done ....i say.

It means they'll move the existing catering facilities from under the East stand, you know the ones that sell shitty pies for £3.50 and scalding coffee for £2 and ever decreasing in size Chunky Kitkats, to an outside tent where they'll then sell shitty pies for £3.50 and scalding coffee for £2 and ever decreasing in size Chunky Kitkats.
.... nearly forgot the overpriced beer will also be moved out there.
You'll also have the added thrill of trying to avoid irate motorists looking for their usual parking spots which will now either be under canvas or somewhere near Monk Bretton.
So a general free for all of beer, pies, kitkats, cars, exhaust fumes and angry motorists.
    When does this all begin?

Don’t know if this has been suggested before but I always think the facility at Notts County which is made available to us when visiting Forest is a decent template to use.
