Odds on May calling General Election. If she calls one on the basis of the Tory party being the only one to honour Brexit. How would folk vote?
So our MP's are finally deciding it might be a good idea to get the views of some experts on trivial matters like what a customs union is Its beyond belief that they are only now deciding it would be a good idea to find out
Don't they need to sort out a new leader before they can have a General Election One thing is certain I wont be voting Tory.
Any remainers having doubts, only need to watch Farage and Robinson spout their dangerous nonsense, for reassurance they've picked the right side.
So much for those who celebrated the victory of Gina Miller, which resulted in this bag of self interested self-obsessed and self serving showoffs being in charge of screwing up the country.
I think you're wrong. One nutcase killed an MP before the result was even known. I've never been as mad about anything before in my life. I genuinely will not speak to some remainers at work now other than about work. They're the equivalent of scabs as far as I'm concerned. Now you're right. I'm not going to do owt daft. I've got too much to loose. It's just that there's 18 million angry seething leavers whose votes have never counted and the one vote that has counted is being ignored. 18 million rightly furious people. And ex military are high on the brexit voting list. My bet is north of double figures MP's have proper violence against them and Palace of Westminster burns down. Mind you that will be an inside job to avoid the repair bill.
I don't understand how or why Mr Robinson is of relevance to anyone's existence. He only drifts upon my radar when someone mentions him on here. I have remembrance of his antics regarding a trial, but that's it. To suggest he has any influence upon the vast majority of people, or has the influence to make any sort of difference to something such as Brexit is ridiculous. He's nobody. Nigel on the other hand is wonderful to watch. I've no idea whether what he says is right or wrong. It's not nonsense though.
I'd suggest the vote that "counted" is not being ignored but that no one can agree on what the vote was actually for. Leave with no deal? Leave with the brilliant deal that we were promised but that the EU unsurprisingly refused to give us. there's a load of different leave options. 18 million did NOT vote for any single one of them. Don't get the relevance of ex military being brexiteers either unless it's a veiled threat.
For those wondering about taking control of a general election happens A Brexit day poem calling for unity in our divided nation - dedicated above all to the people suffering because of decades of UK Government policies who voted to leave the EU as a result. TAKE BACK CONTROL You tell me how you’ve suffered since the closure. I see the pain and sadness in your eyes. I feel your anger at our country’s leaders Who offer only platitudes and lies. At gigs I hear so many of these stories. All different, but the message is the same. You’re sick to death of scheming politicians. No longer going to play their poxy game. The referendum was your chance. You took it. They told you we'd be taking back control. Control of jobs and factories and borders: A revolution wrapped up in a poll. The EU is a ghastly corporate bully. Cheap labour and big profits at its core. I understand why you voted for Brexit: One chance to strike a blow in the class war. But it wasn’t the EU who shut your pit down And sent Met thugs rampaging through your street. They didn’t close your hospitals and workshops Smash down your union to brave defeat. No EU diktat caused the housing crisis The poll tax, bedroom tax or zero hours. No, all of these were brought in by the Tories - We mustn't give them any brand new powers. So let’s take back control with strong trade unions And let’s take back control and organise Take back control of pub and school and workplace And counter all the endless media lies. Take back control as we all stand together No scapegoating and no divide and rule. The future is unwritten, and it’s daunting. Please don't let Brexit take you for a fool.
I should add I meant how would Labour voters, especially those in Leave constituencies, vote if they saw softer Labour Brexit vs a Tory 'Leave means Leave' option.
Agreed . Farage actually left ukip because it started to accociate itself with folk such as Tommy Robinson .
How on earth are people who voted remain suddenly scabs - thats an abuse of the word The problem lies squarely with the politicians I am afraid. Yes they had a mandate to leave but they hadn't worked out what that meant, they still haven't They triggered Article 50 without a plan and hoped to wing it. The PM instead of working out a deal which would command support pretty much went solo solely interested in her own "red lines" things that were never defined in the referendum alientating Hard Brexiters in the ERG and softer Bexiters elsewhere. She kept telling both sides that she was agreeing what they wanted. What we have is a total farce in Parliament and we are the laughing stock of the world. You have a view of what Brexit means but what Brexit actually meant was never defined or voted on but for sure it wasn't just leave with no deal Everyone on both leave and remain sides agrees that Mays actual deal is a bad one its a total fookup Mostly its down to the Tory party using Brexit as an internal power struggle though Labour dont dont come out very well either - there are a few honourable exceptions amongst the MP's but not many. But to blame the average guy in the street is just wrong
