Should never have got this far. 52% was hardly big enough in terms of a majority. It’s no surprise it’s impossible to get it through. The country cannot come together to agree on a way forward.

Whatever happens, this Tory government have to go. Sadly, despite my appreciation for JC, I don’t see a Labour led by him as a viably better alternative as he’d be hounded by the Tory media and it’d all end in shambles. Which is what we have now.

The best time for a new party is now. A centrist party. Get in, then go left. Happy days.

beginning to think that the O.E.D. should remove the word 'DEMOCRACY' from its pages. As it seems to have no meaning whatsoever in the U.K. these days.

You're right PR. I've re-read the article and it says that up to 3,500 troops
have been put on " standby". Having said that, would it be presumptions to assume that they
have had some form training as to how to deal with Civil disorder similar to that experienced during the
    Miners strike in 1984.?

You’d be surprised mate, we’ve been put on standby to help at ferry ports, manage traffic etc. The army may have been told they’ll be on the streets but have neither the training or the law to engage in civil disputes, an act of Parliament would be required I’d assume, and you might end up waiting 3 years for that!! :)

There’ll be nowt to worry about. There will be 30,000 gammon death threats on Twitter and someone will put through WH Smith’s windows in Hartlepool. That will be about it.

So you think Nigel Farage seeks to associate himself with Nazism?

Who exactly are you threatening? Theresa May for trying to sort a deal to take us out? The Brexit maniacs on the extremes of Leave who've voted against it? Who exactly?

You mean the sort of immigration that has absolutely nothing to do with being in the EU or not.

Clearly stopping in the EU is not going to prevent it either . It was clearly an EU decision with backing from all members regards lybia . Syria is a little more complicated as it had Saudi backing .
