Anyone think we could win our final 6 games?

Honestly?

I have a sneaking feeling we could.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility.

Feel free to bump this if we don't.

 

we are capable that's true. But cannot see it somehow.

 

When we got promoted in 2016 and was in the bottom 3 in November of that season i remember agreeing with @YTBFC that we could make the playoffs.

Difficult? yes

Impossible? no

 

gonna be a few more twists to come methinks.

 

No. We haven’t won our last six and some of the games recently we seem to have huffed and puffed ( think that’s the saying) to score goals

 

Can't see it myself but obviously hoping we win at least 4 and draw the other 2 for any chance.

 

Not on current form. Struggling to break teams down without Kieffer, and shaky in defence with Williams at left back.

But I don’t think we’ll need to win every game to go up.

 

Sunderland do have a more difficult run in than us, and fatigue may also be a factor against them too.

 

Think we will win 4 & drawn 2

 

I think we will end up fourth,Sunderland up automatically,Portsmouth third and us fourth

Not a cat in hell's chance. We aren't at our best and it isn't the Barnsley way of doing things anyway. I really hope my post gets triumphantly bumped though.

Saturday is the hardest game we have left. If we win that the rest will follow.

 

Anything is possible and what a fantastic finish it would be if we did manage to win the final 6 games but IMO we will win 3 and draw 3 and that would take us to 91 points. Just had a quick look at Sunderland's remaining games and the problem for us is they don't lose many. It's 2 defeats for them all season along with 16 draws, however, we're now at the business end of the season and they could really start to get some momentum for their final 8 league games. I don't see Sunderland losing between now and the end of the season but how many will they draw? 5 wins and 3 draws would take them to 94 points, 4 wins and 4 draws would take them to 92 points and 3 wins and 5 draws would take them to 90 points.
It would be great if Coventry, Donny and Portsmouth could all take something from the SOL and hopefully Peterborough are still in with a chance of the play offs when they entertain Sunderland on 22/04.

 

We could.... but we wont. We really need to win them all tho to have any chance of 2nd. Ball is defo in sunderlands court. Donnie in playoffs anyone??

 

The Friday before Portsmouth away I said we’d drop points to Pompey, Sunderland, Doncaster, Coventry & Plymouth and win the rest I stand by that.

 

I honestly think if we win on Saturday, irrespective of Sunderland’s and Pompey’s, results, it will send a massive message out that we’re far from done with automatics.

 

Need to take out chances on Saturday as they’ll be far and few between .
Play our normal game and the nerves will go imo which should steady us when defending,

 

Our hardest game is this Saturday. If we left there with a win I'd feel quite optimistic
