Based on Sunderland drawing next 3 games,if that happens and we win our home games it’s on like donkey kong ,youreds

 

I'd say we need to win all 5 really, if we do then it's very much on. Sadly I dont think we will, it's been very poor for a while now.

 

Yeah I think 5 straight wins could do it with Sunderland playing pompey and a few other toughies, but like you I don't think we're in the form to win all 5.

See how it goes over next 2 home games. Good chance to stay in the chase and see where we are after that.

 

I'd be amazed if Sunderland draw each of their next 3 games. Probably draw one, may even draw two. Three highly unlikely.

I think we need minimum of 13 points to stand a chance. Might even need all 15. We'll probably get 10

 

Sadly the form is that we've picked up just over a point per game on average the last few games and that's not promotion form.

The Burton match doesn't bother me in that it was our hardest remaining game. However the way we've played recently does bother me. I was at Walsall and I think the last minute winner masked how poor we were. The signs have been there for a while. We are off form at the wrong time in the season

 

Let's hope the Sunderland fans are right and everyone tries harder against them

I'd love for Burton and Coventry to go there and give them a game like they did us, we'll have to wait and see.

Need to win our two home games at stay in it as long as poss.

 

If we win all 5 we may do it. All 5 winnable. Doubt blackpool can make playoffs. Fleetwood same. Shrews may be hard as they r battling to survive. Same plymouth. Bristol r playing for nothing last day. 15 points would be ace

When we win Saturday ,Coventry hold Sunderland we back in 2nd,then it’s all to play for still

 

Tonight’s result means it’s all to play for again now. We have all been down in the mouth after last Saturdays result but now is the time to get up for the battle again.
We are back as the chasers which is usually where a Barnsley side at their best .
I am sure the players will have a little spring in their step in training after Sunderland have dropped 2 points so let’s do the same as supporters and get ready for Fleetwood.
We should enjoy the ride now as we know full well successful seasons like this don’t come along too often. Bring it on ....

 

Looking at the fixtures there are some real beauties.

Sunderland and pompey play each other. Pompey still have to go to Burton, both big games.

Sunderland play Cov and Donny at home.

You can absolutely guarantee there will be some more thrills and spills.

We need to improve though.
