I agree with this lineup. Thiam needs to be dropped. He’s offering very little at the moment

I reckon that's a good shout Nudge. Freshen things up and keep the dropped regulars on their toes.. Really like what I've seen of Styles too.

Offers very little all the time really, his terrible shooting is very frustrating had some decent chances in recent games but not scored. When he gets the chance to shoot he just smashes it towards goal, one will go in soon let's hope its today if he plays.

Whatever DS picks - he knows better than all of us on here - just get behind 'em either way.

Got to be frustrating for someone like Jackson. Bides his time because you can't drop someone when we are constantly getting clean sheets. Let in five in just two games and he's still no chance of being picked. Other parts of the team get freshened up. Apart from his position.

We’ve had the best defence all season so to drop them because of 2 games is pretty cut throat huh?

I reckon Thiam will start. Yes, his shoot on sight policy can be frustrating when they blaze high and/or wide but he always had impact on games. The last home didn’t he get an assist and was heavily involved in the second goal?

Can’t see Green starting over him personally.

Jackson will be leaving in potentially 5 games which is round about the length of time it normally takes him to settle in.
I like him and think he’s a good player at this level but when he comes in he disrupts the defence initially imo.
Unfortunately not only is keiffer the top scorer but an effective first line of defence. Dougall then picks up a large part of the shielding duties and mcgeehans season was incorrectly disrupted at a key stage of the season against key opponents. These are genuine reasons why the promotion push has taken a stumble but I’m still optimistic that we have enough to do our part of what’s required. What others do is not worth losing sleep over.

People go on about thiam shooting on sight yes he does but I bet since the Southend game both mcgeehan and mowatt have skyed more than him.

So did bahre at Southend with that assist for Woodrow, yet he gets slated on here most weeks. I just wish him and thiam were more consistent

You get a good twenty mins out of thiam then it’s like his head seems to go

Yeah, in reality, most of our team has a shoot on sight policy.

Technically, I think Bahre is very good. But like you say, consistency is his problem and for me, he seems to disappear out of games a lot.

Thiam is also inconsistent I agree. A lot of players we have are, which is mainly why they’re in league 1 with us. They’re young and make mistakes.

I would like to see Green do something but I just don’t see him having as much impact as Thiam just yet. Hedges has picked up recently (because he’s fighting for a contract? Who knows) but before nobody wanted him near the side.

I think the shape is right, but would persevere with Brown and Thiam.I think it will be difficult today, that's why I would like to see Styles in Midfield. 4-2-4was a mistake, hopefully it won't be happening again.
