    Today is "Record Store Day" and if there's an independent record shop near where you live it might be worthwhile checking out what's going on. I just walked past my local shop "Banquet" records and was surprised to see queues around the block. Nice to see in times of homogeneous high street chains.

    Banquet often have bands playing informally in their shop :) and today I believe they have John Otway playing. Which is a long-winded excuse to play this:

    Helped out at my local shop. First time they’d done RSD. First people rocked up at 4.45am, nearly 50 in queue by time of opening. Great fun.
