    Im busy watching game not dugout anyway but im sure whitey will have the full sound from dugout too. It just shows bartons a fruitcake because even a good thirty seconds to a minute after the hand shake he's not calmed down and obviously planned the attack in that time. I just hope it doesn't sour his enthusiasm in any way.

    It was kicking off with Barton on and off throughout the match - the referee at one point was in the Fleetwood dugout.
    My point is this.
    In circumstances like this with obvious threats to Stendel - IN NO WAY should Barton have been allowed to get anywhere near Stendel during or after the match.
    But he did.
    And I’ve witnessed other threatening circumstances similar to this during the season.

    My mate at work is a linesman and 4th official in both leagues 1 & 2 he's done 2 Barnsley games this year.

    He's done 3/4 Fleetwood games and said to me Barton started off well enough not a problem he behaved himself but recently been constantly warned for his behaviours.


    Throughout his career he's always been involved in controversy and illegal acts he'll never change. Only constant in his life is violence.

    Imo it was obviously pr meditated and done with as few witnesses as possible with some that will side with Barton making it out as 50/50 which although will incriminate Barton .
    That will lesson the actual act when contested as self defence and allow the judge to see the incident as a fight rather than assault , mark my words he’ll get a lesser punishment than he should imo

    I doubt we’ll see a match recap this week as it’ll be evidence , if it turns out he has assaulted Daniel I hope it’s gaol for him.

    I don't think they got on at the return leg either. I think it's a German thing I remember Wagner celebrating Huddersfield scoring and Gary monk taking offence to it.
    Your right Barton should be sacked he also should have been arrested last night if I assaulted a Fleetwood fan I'm sure south Yorkshire finest would have arrested me.

    The players took to social media to condemn Barton I'm sure if cavare had waded in and set about Barton he would have been banned for the rest of the season.
