The most famous one is Cole and Sheringham being very public in their dislike for each other, but didn't stop SAF playing them in the same team. Players don't have to be best mates to have a good team spirit, they just need to be able to trust each other to make the right decisions and be able to cover for each others mistakes when they happen. The decision making aspect will be why Woodrow gave Thiam a bollocking.

Admittedly, I didn't see the game, but from reports it would seem the main thing to address would be the number of chances Fleetwood were able to create, and the fact they scored with 10 men. Could be the main difference between us and Sunderland at the weekend was Coventry's finishing. When the club's Twitter account has to acknowledge spells when the opposition are the better side, things must be bad.

 

Not for me. Barnsley, whilst not at their best, were the better team, created more chances & played some excellent football (especially in the first half). Fleetwood did create chances, but (in my opinion) they were never the better side in any part of the match.
If things are bad when you've bounced back from your first defeat in the league since 8th December last year to win, score four goals, create more chances and move two points clear in the second automatic promotion places, then the mind boggles at what must be done for things to be good!

 

Like I say, I wasn't at the game, so appreciate any reports on how we played that's beyond the Sky Sports reporting and Twitter feed.

My comment about things being bad wasn't meant to be a general comment about the team. Was just that the Tweets that go out during games do have a rose tint about them, so it's always a shock to read a tweet of the other team being on top.

 

Fleetwood didn't create much and unlike Sunderland and Coventry we were never behind and had a 2 goal cushion for a considerable part of the game. I'm glad the players are getting frustrated with each other as long as its constructive. Seems to ne that Cameron's reaction to Bahres goal was delight that hed finally scored. If you watched the Sunderland Netflix Ashley Fletcher was getting really down about not scoring, so I think it shows good team spirit that they are so pleased for each other. And coming back from the loss to win a game.
