Stendel doesn't come across as a fighter Barton knows who to pick on. Always has come across as a bully his whole career like cavare said coward.

A pathetic response from some pretty pathetic individuals.

Jesus Nudge “very unprofessional “. If he’s done what is alleged, it’s a vicious criminal act.
Get a grip man. Ridiculous post.

    Exactly.

    Very unprofessional?

That's a huge understatement when it sounds like a vicious assault, damaged teeth and the rest!

The best comment is the one that says ‘sounds to me it was planned by Barnsley through out the game’

When Barton was appointed as manager i felt it was a matter of time and was certain at some point there would be another incident. There is enough evidence to show he is a repeat offender, cant control himself and even he admits he has problems. Its a pity that ‘incident’ involved us.

Im now interested to see how the authorities of both law and order and the EFL deal with this.

Im also interested in the integrity of FTFC and how they deal with it. We sacked Wright immediately for much less and at the time hadn't been fully concluded. Their appeal for the red card can only be to build mitigation arguments which tells me they are currently in denial and looking at defending the whole series of events whatever they may be.

some of the posts on here and other sites about this incident are beyond belief . and have said similar on same ,
nobody goes to work except plod and squaddies expecting to be assaulted , What Barton is alleged to have done, is bang out of order and FTFC should have at a minimum suspended him after the game ,
for others to say stuff like welcome to England get over it and such is so wrong . Stendel is not one of us ,he comes from a different mindset ,where ignorance, violence and thuggery are not acceptable , they have spent the last 70 odd years trying to re habilitate themselves and their country , a raised voice is a no no .
Lets hope Daniel makes a speedy recovery and doesn't come to the conclusion that its not worth it and upsticks to get away from this horrendous situation ,

Would Barton have even thought about it if Daniel had been the size of Jurgen Klopp? Not on your life!

In a way, it doesn't matter what they do to that little **** now. The story is out there and the damage to his already-tarnished reputation is done. So here's one for you; how's about we just take the moral high ground and say we won't press charges? He's phucked anyway, so it matters not, and if there is obvious and visible damage to Stendel's lovely features when he resurfaces this week, the public can make up their own mind. We end up looking classy, him a lovely person.

No. If there is a case for it then 100% press charges. It needs to officially go on his recod if nothing else, every incident adds up.

And let him get away with violence? That's a good message to put out to our young fans. Maybe if it was a young player in the heat of the moment who was apologetic straight away .

I'm basing it on 'he said/he said', Helen, which I fear is where this is heading. If there is no direct eyewitness evidence, then we just end up in a name/blame-calling exercise with that odious little lovely person and his hangers-on.

To be fair our club have said nothing. Cant be accused of scaremongering, starting rumours or throwing accusations or anything on the topic. The club has been silent and rightly so.

Well if there are no witnesses or injuries then CPS probably would nt press charges. However, the tweets straight away afterwards suggests that someone saw something.

    Yer right.
I was under the impression Barton had landed a punch.
It doesn’t seem as tho that was the case.
It sounds much much worse than that.
Barton needs to be kept well away from high pressure jobs if he acts like that.
    Foooking brain dead.

Cauley's (now-deleted) tweet implied he'd seen the aftermath, but not what happened. Haven't seen anything from a direct witness yet.
