East Stand: 34 CK Beckett: 19 West Stand: 96 With 139 tickets left we surely have other plans be that portaloos hired for the north side of the west stand or splitting the north stand? I suspect we have a plan or they would have made it all ticket for Blackpool fans to stop our fans going in with them. Those last few will go and it would be bad business if we have to turn people away tomorrow with pay on the day.
My guess is block B of the West somehow Ps since when has 34+19+96 = 139 I think you might be out by 10 - did you forget to carry the 1 when you added it up?
Do you work in retail perchance. It astounds me when a till isn't working and the cashier can't work out how much change someone needs.
You're making the mistake of taking the seating map too literally. I'm usually glued to it on occasions like this and little clusters of seats are often released late on, which you thought had already been sold. I expect the same will happen tomorrow morning.
For me, and I said earlier in this thread, tomorrow is about support and not money. The club have known for weeks about the importance of his fixture. So if Portaloos and a Burger/coffee van were needed to open up the rest of the West Stand, along with further stewards then so be it. Or if just more stewards were needed to split the North Stand, then so be it. I agree with the club’s policy of limiting ground capacity if not required, it makes financial sense. However, I also expect that at times when demand requires, they reopen these sections - especially when it’s a critical game such as tomorrow. I fully expect the club know this and have it all in hand anyway. But if we do turn people away tomorrow as they can’t pay on the gate due to lack of available seats, then that is purely wrong and poor operational management. However, until 3pm, it’s all conjecture.
Same happened in the home leg vs Walsall in the play offs in 2016. Except I think that was on police advice. As if we were playing Millwall or Leeds or someone. Basically they may as well just knock down half the West stand and half the North stand if they're not ever going to be used for home fans.
Only about 120 left now. Will the club be telling people wanting to pay on the day tomorrow to stay away?
Few scattered across the East and West but I think it will be a struggle to get 2 together. EDIT: only singles in the East but a few twos in the lower West.
