I had some really funny away day trips with him and he could be a real laugh, but he also had another side to him, which I wouldn't like to speculate on the causes of - not (at least in my experience) nasty, just a bit odd. I kind of lost touch with him just after the time he set up a new club and not seen him in years.

I reckon I would have been higher up if I hadn't held some of my opinions back.

Everyone has a Windy story - but the guy was absolutely horrible, very bitter - obsessional about Islam, immigration, 'cultural fascism' (as he called it).

He was absolutely vindictive when he took against anyone - a real bully. I think people have already mentioned him trying to get someone in trouble at work for coming on here in work time.

I remember him having a huge 'I told you so' moment when he produced a video piece that claimed that by something like 2025 a ridiculously high percentage of the European population would be Islamic. It turned out that the report was from CNM not CNN - the Christian News Movement - who had also released videos to support creationism, antivaxxing, anti-abortion and host of right wing causes. Windy was basically circulating fake news/right wing propaganda as truth - and that sums the bloke up. A real @rsehole.

Anyway i remember that being a real bloody nose moment for the bloke and plenty of people enjoyed it.

It could only be a paedophile that beat him to the number 1 slot.
