Without getting into the merits or shortfalls in his game I think he would be an amazing signing and it should be a no brainer.

I see him as a future big money sale and could see him gracing the Prem. In fact his style is more suited to the Prem than L1, even though he has toughened up.

    Right player.

If Stendal wants him then he knows better than me, and he clearly has bags of ability and as such potential to match. My comment was that I expected more from him over the season as he is certainly a very talented footballer.

I think the Champ will suit him better.

Stendel’s no mug though and I trust him to make the right call.

One good thing about Bahre is he’s a flair player that’s willing to put the graft in off the ball & help the team keep its shape.

We’ve seen it over the years at Barnsley with Mellis, McCourt, Moncur & many others that it’s often tough to fit them into the team as it’s like playing with 10 men when you don’t have the ball

He offers that extra spark in the final third like taking a man on and creating a 1-2 in and around the box but I agree, his decision making sometimes can be frustrating

We’re definitely better with him in the team, especially as the number ten role.

I don’t understand why people dislike him so much, you need to appreciate what he contributes to the team.

I can't weigh up why he doesn't take corners yesterday he was man marking goalkeeper a yard out. What's that in aid of?

Surely due to the umlaut it should be pronounced "Bezza"?!

With Bahre I use the 'musician' analogy. Anyone (almost) can be taught to play a musical instrument, but only to a certain level. To play one well you have to have natural ability. If you have that natural ability you can be taught all the necessary extra things you need to master it. Bahre can be tutored to play at a much higher level and fill in the gaps in his skill set.
You don't really need pace with his game/roll. He can turn, create space for himself and others and (ultimately) play a killer through ball to feet. That bit though, on some days, is the most inconsistent and frustrating part of his game when his passes go astray.

he has had lots of good games and I recall he has had at least 2 MOTM awards despite often being on the bench or coming on as a sub or being subbed. Opinions eh?

I was saying to someone on Saturday if the lad had a shot on him he wouldn't be playing for us, One guy even made a bold statement if he could shoot he would be the closest thing to Glavin we have ever had.
