    Great result and Spurs might actually achieve something by winning a trophy, which this set of players should have done by now of note.

    I wouldn't fancy being a Spurs fan in Amsterdam tonight. Morning media will be all about bother as Dutch fans are trouble makers, like all the hassle they caused at the first leg.

    Spurs were on the verge of going out in the group stages, only to survive by a late goal for PSV at inter Milan for them to sneak through on goal difference.

    Now they’re on the verge of winning the title. What an achievement that would be, by arguably the best current manager in the premier league.

    However, this doesn’t seem ideal for Gareth Southgate who now has a possible 12 players involved in the champions league final. 5 days before England take on Holland in the nations league.

    Well done Spurs for keeping going. But what a shame not to see Ajax back in the final with this young and eager team. I don't think they'll get this far again next year as they'll surely lose a few key players.

    The thing that amazed me. Mrs Farnham doesn’t like football and usually leaves the room when it’s on but was actually watching most of the second half as we were eating. When the winner went in even she cheered and jumped off the sofa. That’s most definitely a first.
