btw, is Potts due a runners up medal? I'm not sure that players who move away from a club which subsequently wins promotion should be entitled to such awards. Surely they forfeit such things if they choose to move mid-season?

Must do, or that would mean moncur has a winners and runners up medal, and I can’t live with that.

You need to have played ten games to qualify for a medal. At least that always used to be the case.

I think that would be the simplest way to do it. However Potts helped to get us off to a flying start. You could argue the other way saying why should Green get one as he joined us mud season.

Good laiker Potts. Our recruitment in a nutshell, buy him cheap, develop him and unfortunatley us fans have to endure his 1 in 5 decent performances whilst developing, then just when hes starting to look good and putting in 3 in 5 decent performances, we sell him for a massive profit. Rinse and repeat, not complaining, just the way it is.

I remember that but apparently at least in the Premier League it's five.....

I would say ten is too low. For a medal you should have to play a set amount of minutes regardless of games played. Sir Alex used to give fringe players a minute or two in consecutive games so they would qualify for a medal, which shouldn't be allowed.

I don't think they have had enough influence to have earned one if they have barely played. I would only have a trophy and medals for league winners too not runners up or who goes up through the play offs too.

No they train for four years to peak at the Olympics so silver and bronze are deserving after all they put in to it for the very best in the world against the very best.

Would have said if part of the squad then they have contributed by pushing the first team players to keep their place

Players can win medals after a transfer mid season if played enough games. Technically Moncur has qualified for both, but not sure why anyone would want a r/up when you have a winners
