Although if Manchester City had been found
Its quite enlightening to look at the Register of Members Interests.

Rees-Mogg gets paid £15k per month from his investment firm (registered in the Cayman Islands), on top of his MP salary and media commitments.
Daniel Kawczynski gets £6k per month for consultancy from a mining firm from the USA.
Boris - £22k per month from the Telegraph + over £200K for speaking engagements.
Priti Patil - £45k per year as a director of a business/accountancy software firm.

When MPs are earning a significant amount of money from third parties, can we be sure that they are working in the best interests of the country, or their own pockets.

That’s not how politics work though is it ?
The Tories had more politicians elected in the last election but the majority was so low they couldn’t govern without some sort of coalition .
Same as the referendum the majority is so low it doesn’t give a clear indication of the will of the people hence the stalemate .

    Thanks for that.
So do you think all those who voted for these parties were solely interested in their Remain stance, rather than say Environmental issues, Independence or as a protest at the Labour and Conservative parties inability to implement their Manifesto pledges?

I get your point but in this instance, and in this context, I think it's pretty safe to say that the vast majority of people voting for those parties would want to remain. Perhaps the SNP vote is more complicated. Plus there will be a lot who voted Labour and Conservative that wish to remain.

But you're right. The only way to ascertain whether, given everything that has happened and we now know, is to have a second referendum.

For sure if Farage is the answer then it must be one hell of a question

Why vote for any of them when our country is leaving?

I thought the Farage Party had a pretty poor showing. After all the Farage Party at the last Euro elections got 27.5 % and this time 31.6%. So only a 4% increase even given the shambles at Westminster. Think he should get sacked.

More teachers (paid what they're worth) more police on the beat. NHS given priority. More social housing. A fairer society. clamp down on the real tax evaders. Only one man can deliver. Yes you've guessed. If it helps I also voted remain.
Brexit party was formed to make a point with 1 policy only. If not farage would have stayed with ukip.

TBF MR C. .I thought a lot of remainers abstained thinking hard line Brexiters would turn out in full force. Knowing the rest would be split votes. Arguments for both sides look a bit futile for me given the turnout.
