Im glad I dont work in that field if thats the salary for that level of qualification and experience.
Hours and benefit in kind depending... youd be struggling to hit minimum wage if you have to work the thick end of 60 hours a week. Regardless how many days its over.
Doubt there'll be many applicants with all those qualifications. A physio can charge £60 an hour if they set up their own practice.
Sadly that kind of salary won't be a shock to many reading who are at the front end of their careers, particularly anyone in the public sector. You wouldn't earn more for many other highly qualified positions on entry, including Schoolteacher, FE Lecturer, Social Worker, Nurse etc.
I would argue it actually is. Those going for graduate jobs these days, especially in medical sciences, are expected to have that kind of experience through work placements during the course of their studies and to have shown commitment to get professional qualifications, it's that competitive with the high volume of graduates.
22k for straight out of uni is pretty decent actually, and the requirement certainly could be met by a graduate, or someone who has only worked for a year or so.
