    Terrible news, was an amazing player when he first came on the scene. Injuries hampered his career, he was unplayable when he 1st joined Arsenal. Remember his debut for them in the F.A cup, if memory serves correctly he scored and was best player until he got substituted.

    Horrendous way to perish following a 125 mph car crash. On his way back home to
    his family apparently. Former Arsenal team mate Thierry Henry and others paying their respects.
    Henry says he's devastated at the very sad news. RIP Jose.

    I would have called him tw@t of course but I don’t know what went on in the car at the time. Maybe his cousin was egging him on. So right now I’m not in a position to judge.

    Egging him on? He was 35 years old. If it comes out that his cousin was the one with his foot on the accelerator I'll concede you have a point. What do you reckon the chances of that are?

    It's all very sad, especially that his cousin died too but I've got to agree with Conan in as far as no driver with half an ounce of common sense or consideration for other road users should be driving at 135 mph.
