He was an adult with capacity to make his own decisions. Whilst I am not obviously pleased he has died, from what we know at the moment it looks like his poor decisions have cost him and his cousin's lives. I'm sure people will retract their views if by some miracle there was a valid reason to drive at pushing 140mph. To suggest a grown man was "egged on" and that somehow changes anything is ridiculous. You're like a dog with a bone whenever Conan posts an opinion, you cannot let it slide. You come across as obsessed with him for christ's sake. If you don't like him, don't engage with him.
Maybe it's you egging me on. You utter ******* moron. Worst poster on here by a country mile as proven by the ***** you have posted in this thread. You are so desperate for people to take notice of you and the only way you can do this is by having a pop at someone with a bit of notoriety. It's pathetic. You're also an obnoxious lovely person just to go with it. Btw - is this you? Seems like the sort of thing a sad, desperate **** would do. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/teams-like-barnsley.1474974/
Some reports suggesting the Car hadn't been driven for a while beforehand and the tires may not have been upto pressure leading to a blow out. Obviously with the frankly ludicrous speeds involved it's hardly a surprise how it ended. I guess we will never know why, was he showing off to his cousin, did he often drive at those speeds? Luckily know one else was caught up as he lost control of the car. Sadly for the two occupants the odds of survival would have been negliable and so it proved. His reckless behaviour cost him and his cousin their lives. Moreover his family will have to also live on knowing his death was down to his own foolishness.
Just an analogy, he was a 35 year old grown bloke, if he was as you say " egged" on he was old enough to realise what could happen to him and is cousin in the event of a accident, as well as people driving sensibly who could have also been wiped out because he may have been "egged" on
No, but at 35 it precludes that he was old enough and most likely fully aware what could happen, and sadly it did happen, would you drive at those speeds if you were " egged on" and if not why? Cheers
And I was offering a possible alternative (of which there are likely to be many) reason for the accident. I was saying that I didn’t know what happened and thought it unreasonable to lay the blame at the drivers feet before the facts came out. Unfortunately these days some make up their minds prima facie and want the ‘guilty’ party hanged out of hand. And no, I’m not suggesting that you do.
There is no reason at all why someone should be driving at that speed. You can be argumentative for the sake of it as much as you like but there is no possible explanation for it and you know full well. The best you have come up with is that he might have been egged on and I think that speaks volumes about the strength of your viewpoint!!
Find it strange super tyke likes this post verbally abusing another board member. I always thought he was quite sensitive when he posted on here when the verbals were directed at him.
Must think it's well deserved in this instance. I did make an effort with this clown a few months back but it was futile. I don't regret a single word of what I said.
What a big old rufty tufty you are Jimmy. As for making an effort, sorry, I must have missed that one. Perhaps you could talk me through it over a quiet pint before the first home game of next season. I'm sure you're a rational sort of bloke when not behind the keyboard.
I would rather die of thirst than have a drink with you. Why don't we just agree to give each other a wide berth? If you don't reply to me I've certainly got no interest in replying to you.
Just been reading this. I don’t really think he should be blamed for his cousins death. There’s no way he would’ve been speeding against his cousins will. I don’t think anyone wouldn’t slow down if their own relative was telling them to slow down. Logic would suggest it’s two relatives having a bit of fun in one of Reyes’ sports cars which went tragically wrong.
