    He thinks he's better than he is. Can't get in the City side and tonight costs his country. He hasn't reached anywhere near the level that was expected of him a couple of years ago.

    Simple fact is he’s not played for months and looked leggy all night.

    Half the team looked knackered from the off.

    Although Stonesy has had a mare, some of the others in Midfield and at the back haven’t been any better.

    He’s not at the level that he thinks he is or some Barnsley fans think he is and deserves criticism he’s started 3 of the last 19 for city there is a reason for that!!

    Pep was playing him until he got injured. He's made a huge mistake but he's still a good player and I'd rather see centre halves who play the ball out from the back. He's just coming back from a lengthy injury so he's a bit rusty.

    Why oh why oh why have we spent all match trying to do fancy pirouettes in our own penalty area. It's unbelievable and is inevitably going to end in a f**k up.
    And Stones is just not ironing out his propensity for dropping huge clangers.

    Stones has had a bad game and maybe needs to move on from city and play weekly if he is to improve again.

    But telling people to go and boil there heads because they have an opinion that differs to yours ?

    Outstanding first half of the season as first choice City centre back alongside Laporte, got injured & struggled to get back in due to Kompany’s form which makes you wonder why he’s starting for England when he hasn’t been starting games this calendar year?
