All good comments but its standard die hard Labour voters stuff. Bottom line is, whenever I hear Dianne Abbott talk about anything, she makes a right horlicks of it. Not propoganda, just what I see on TV, which unfortunatley is what other folk see. Maybe if I was a full paid up member of the Labour party and hung on every word, id think different but I dont and aint got time for it, its what I see on the TV and listen to on the radio in the time I get free, much like 90% of the population so when shes on TV or radio she has to make it crack but she doesent and nor does Corbyn for me. Dont get me wrong I wouldnt vote for anybody at the minute because im my opinion, none are worth my vote. They all seem to be as bad as each other.
Really!! I voted leave but on the basis of current policy I'll be voting Labour in a GE. Let me go a bit further. I think Labour are going to have to get off the fence and support Remain to have any conceivable chance in a GE. In those circumstances I'd STILL vote Labour. Why? Because Brexit isn't the 'be all and end all' of any decision I'd make. And while 'I'm going further, let me pi** a few more people off. If you are normally a Labour Voter and you think that Brexit is a more important issue than Health, Education, Social care, Climate emergency, Foreign relations etc...combined then you are a deluded fool. I wouldn't be chasing that vote if I were in the Labour leadership - it's beyond ignorance.
Of course i dont. Just my opinion. But seems a widely held one, otherwise the worst government since time began, wouldnt probably still be favourites to get in next general election. Labour should be 50 points clear, but theyre no better than the absolute clusterf**k thats in at the moment. Never known such a vacuum of electable folk, ever.
I've been working in and around Peterborough these last few weeks and I have to say I think this is a much bigger failure for the BxP than many have said. It is both fertile Brexit territory and BxP absolutely poured everything they could into, bussing and driving people in from all around the country. They had something like 300 activists meet at the Broadway Theatre last Saturday and then go out all over the place. Labour has some good local canvassers but they put nothing like what the BxP did into it, numbers-wise. BxP even had someone at the door of every polling station trying to persuade people. Personally, I'm happy that the result seems to have been decided on wider issues than just Brexit.
Why? Brexit still won... maybe not brexit party alone, but brexit supporting parties.... not including the brexit labour supporters. Why when I put forward a very similar argument to the remain one in the EU elections, I’m told that it doesn’t work like that. If you think this is a win for remain, or even Labour, I believe you are making the same mistake as the remain politicians did for the original brexit vote...
He plays politics like a child. To not attend a D-Day celebration because Donald trump was there is ridiculous....
There’s not enough space on here to answer that one! Even if there was everybody but diehard. Labour suppporters would already know it.
Wrong on both counts but there’s nothing really to say that hasn’t been said. I will mention the Peterborough by election wasn’t about the sh1tshow of brexit and feel free to check Jeremy Corbyns record of supporting veterans. It’s obvious you are ill informed on both issues.
I’m genuinely curious, though. Other than the tabloid scare stories about a “Corbyn government”, where is the evidence coming from? Which of his policies is it that you don’t like?
I’m not wrong, you are ignorant of anyone else’s point of view.... typical. What next spit in my face and Chuck a milkshake? So Mr Corbyn hasn’t acted childish on this? Was he supporting our troops when he courted Hamas, Hezbollah and the IRA? I know this doesn’t fit your rose tinted glasses, but hey.
6 page thread back in January. To summarise the most extreme policies seamed to be making people and companies pay their share of tax and the ridiculous banning of fast food adverts before the watershed http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/extremist-labour-party-policies.275479/page-6
There loads Micky , he’s all mouth but ( to me) no substance. Not being funny but really don’t want to get into debates still can’t be arsed with stuff tbh
