I work for a US company. They've just bought all 5,000 employees new $2000 chairs because one person had back pain, blamed their desk chair and the healthcare policies for US employees went through the roof... Worked out cheaper to spend $10,000,000 on new chairs for everyone than to have to pay the 'tax' on an uncomfortable workplace.

(this is a true story, but it's meant as a tongue in cheek comment at how ridiculous insurance prices are in the US)

I don't know the economics of how it all worked out, I'm not going to question it.

Can I have your old chair, then, please?

Got to be better than the pile of breeze blocks I have to sit on.

    5000 X 2000 = 10000000 doesn't it? That means $10million in total
