    Neither of them have done anything exceptional.

    Lampard failed in the play-offs, just like Rowett. Gerrard let Celtic win everything, just like whoever was before him at Rangers.

    And yet Lampard is off to Chelsea, apparently. Based on what managerial achievements, I'm not sure!

    I agree to an extent but feel Lampard has done well in his first season. Wasn't a million miles off promotion.

    As for Gerrard, Celtic are that far ahead of anyone else, I doubt even Guardiola would've got Rangers any closer. That's why I take next to no interest in SPL.

    Perhaps they tried behind the scenes for Stendel, but got no encouragement. But then Gibson does not generally poach managers under contract so it could have all been paper talk. Looks like Bilic set for West Brom, so another potential threat neutered.
