Lost a vote on the point of principle that Yvette Cooper won in March. Plus he has strengthened Boris the Clown's arm by making things ambiguous regarding No Deal still being on the table. Well done, Jezza. When will people come to their senses?
Boris is certainly a clown, but Corbyn must be the only politician capable of being out manoeuvred by him, you'd think someone with a modicum of sense would be capable of having a word in Corbyns ear.
Wouldn’t kid Boris is significantly more intelligent than he lets on in public, some believe he uses the blithering idiot approach on purpose. Personally I suspect it is part of his natural personality and rather than try to hide it he uses it for his own advantage.
That’s simply not true. Everyone who knows him and support him are trying their best to keep him away from any kind of questioning so he doesn’t Buffoon himself into oblivion. I will agree, Johnson is a character and has a certain degree of charisma to some, but he’s politically inept and is a huge danger to our country if he makes it to PM.
Don't blame Corbyn for losing the vote. Blame the Labour MPs who voted with the Tories and those Labour MPs who didn't vote
You don't like Mr Corbyn do you Mr Kaht? Fair enough if that is so but however your politics are I would seriously suggest you contemplate the longer term future of the country should the likes of Johnson and Co get in. That is not to suggest that Corbyn does not make mistakes (as he does) but after the last ten years of austerity, cuts, rising crime, increased uneven distribution of wealth, food banks, child poverty increase etc etc (I could go on) the fact that Corbyn has failed in an attempt to bring the Government to book on a particular motion says not so much about him but about the Tories who refused to back it. THEY are the ones who undermine, weaken and make people poorer not Corbyn. And as for your point about the Yvette Cooper motion, you know yourself you are making a petty point as the circumstances are different and the motion itself was different. You either want the Tories or you dont. Regards.
Think you shot your self in the foot there mate, given all the faults that you list ,Labour ought to be pissing over everything the government does and dominating every poll.Corbyn is a major reason they aren’t.
Dont think I've shot myself in the foot at all. mate. I believe everything I've posted. Corbyn is, I am sure of it, a 'nice guy' (and I'm not patronising). He is, I think, in some senses too nice for the job he's in as he's not a natural leader with social media, TV, arguing with his own comrades, disciplining members etc.. I suspect he's a soft bloke who could do with a hard man as lieutenant but he hasn't got one as far as I can see. He also has to contend with attacks from within his own party from people who are obviously more right wing than the Lib-Dems. He's in a spot. Yet, for all that and the situation he is in I think he inspires hope and I would wish for everyone to listen to his words/policies as they represent a chance to move this country into a fairer place for all.....
That ignores the whole Brexit issue. Labour aren't pissing all over the Tories because they represent remain and leave areas and as such are having to try and find a way not to alienate a large proportion of their supporters. Personally despite being an ardent remainer I have thought until now that the only real position Labour could take would be some form of very soft Brexit, which was also the only way to put the country back together. But increasingly I'm of the view Labour may have to abandon leave voters and embrace an outward looking internationalist position, because its actually those voters who are more supportive of the progressive policies of Corbynism. But to simply say the Tories woes should equate to Labour success ignores the very subject that is afflicting them both and dominating politics. We live in unusual times and the ordinary rules do not apply.
I only have to watch Ian Hislops eyes whenever Boris's name is mentioned as the prospective Prime Minister on "Have I got News for you." His grimace followed by " ' Aw may God protect us", says it all for me. Hislop admits going through a personal crisis when the buffoon was first made Foreign Secretary, so it will be interesting to see what he has to say if the nightmare does come true. https://www.irishnews.com/magazine/...b-gave-me-personal-crisis-says-hislop-993443/
The people aren’t after a fairer place for all, sadly. It’s never been that way and never will be. Too many of us care only about us and ours. It’s the way of the world and has been forever. And it allows cnunts to prosper, to flourish. This isn’t a recent thing. It’s been like this always. There are, always, cnunts in power and poor folk struggling with the majority somewhere in between. I adore what Corbyn stands for. It’s bloody heartwarming and admirable. And all the smears against him are so transparent. He’s a massive fcukn threat alright, to the cnunts, to those in power. Not a prayer of him ever succeeding. This world isn’t getting any fairer, any kinder. Old cnunty, Boris, he refers to Muslim women as looking like letterboxes. Is that affecting his PM chances? Is it ****. Because far too many folk agree with him. Far too many are racist and cnunts. Now imagine if Corbyn had said such a thing. Imagine he’d said Jewish women looked weird. Country is fcukd. Politically, it’s jumped the shark.
Would Boris be the first Prime Minister who has dual Nationality(he’s also registered as an American citizen)?
Get ready. MARK MY WORDS. Corbyn - by breaking off negotiations with Theresa May has caused her to resign. And he knew this would happen. So Corbyn has in effect opened the door for Boris. That means Boris at the despatch box facing Jeremy Corbyn. OMG !!! Corbyn has committed political suicide. That’s like a red eyed wolf fixing its stare and gently smiling showing a set of very sharp teeth across the despatch box at a wide eyed rabbit. Boris is going to make Corbyn look like a village idiot. It’s looking like Boris will get in - and if he does - and once Brexit is sorted - at the next General Election the Labour Party will be swept away. Mark My Words on this.
Except you don’t get given a two in one degree without a very good level of intelligence and despite all his buffoonery he actually did a decent job as London Mayor. I do agree though the thought of him being PM is worrying
its a 2:1 and having had the level of finance thrown at his education that he did, thats not exactly a resounding success, his level of intelligence is widely accepted as not great, entertaining to some, but not the brightest spark
Will have to agree to disagree then. Money no doubt helped him gain an advantage but pretty sure money doesn’t give you the intelligence to get one of the hardest degrees available at Oxford, also pretty sure money doesn’t make you fluent in Latin and Ancient Greek. He lacks serious judgement, is self centred and has a whole list of other flaws but i do not believe he is as thick as some people think.
