    I imagine one or more of the following
    a) Because they don't feel the need to announce non-playing staff changes to the public.
    b) The appointment isn't 'official' yet, eg. official start date is 1st July or something. I wouldn't be surprised if he was on 6 months notice at his previous job.
    c) Because his job isn't going to be public facing
    d) Because there's a big conspiracy against Barnsley Fans to pull the wool over our eyes and run the club into the ground, take all money out of it and bulldoze Oakwell.

    Presumably still president of Nice.
