    Saw them play at the tournament at athersley Rec, think they ended up winning it actually. Did sound like the parents were a little OTT but didn’t take too much notice as my youngens team didn’t play them. Tbh I think they have a woman coach which is a teacher at the lads school.

    Good luck! Took us ages to find our eldest a team. Ended up at Kellingley Welfare. Everywhere we asked either had a full squad or asked about his previous teams. Even the Kellingley coach was reluctant to sign an 8-year-old with no previous competitive experience.

    Is he nearly 9 or just turned 8? I heard Hemsworth have started a new under-10 team on a Sunday and were a couple of lads short. Can get more details if of interest.
