There was a piece in the chron stating we had sold 10k when Cryne started the free kids tickets, it was posted on here years ago. It said biggest sales since Hendrie was manager.

Fair enough. So we’re heading towards an average gate of 14-15k per home game then I guess. When you add pay-on-gate and away fans.

Although it swings around anyway. You get less pay on gate, and more season ticket sales. So the club probably make less money overall

Be great if the club could finally break 15k average, feel like the club is out there in the town at the moment, everywhere you turn there's a BFC badge. Great in it.

Yet the half of the West stand will remain closed for safety reasons.

I do wonder if the unpopular matchday pricing announced today might have been decided on with one eye on trying to sell as many STs as possible. I'll admit it's made me think about buying one, despite not making it to half of the games at Oakwell.

I'll be honest, were all going on about ST sales, FFP etc etc but with the restrictions in place at the moment and some of the big clubs having **** all to spend it seems a great time for Chien to get pissed and sling Conway a bag full of £20 million across the table and tell him to get us to the prem.

    For FOOKS SAKE !!!!!
Hate the cold - so wont be going to those matches where the temperature drops below 5C.
Hate the night matches so won’t be going to many of those matches.
Go abroad in January and February so won’t be going to those matches.
So I just pay on the day.

But clearly I can’t do that now because if I haven’t got an ST I probably won’t get in.

    What a ******* !!!

It's fantastic sales but let's hope fans aren't locked out of home games because of half the west stand not being brought back to use.

Not strictly safety reasons, is it? It's to do with the facilities or lack of them currently. The club have said this can be fixed relatively easily should we have the demand

Demand looks to be increasing, so hoping this can be addressed this season

Yes I’m only a part timer.

It’s about £40 a month for a season ticket, with no interest, paid over 10 months. Surely worth it if you can get to 2 games a month?

I'm always more impressed with the numbers we retain when we've been relegated. It's pretty much nailed on that if your team is relegated you've suffered 9 miserable months of shocking football played by a ramshackle bunch of ne're do wells who find ever more ingenious ways to balls things up and ruin your weekend. Those still in contract who ensured relegation are inevitably still here, as no one else is stupid enough to take them off your hands, apart from your one good player who was flogged before you got home on the final day of the season. The manager has been sacked and you've employed someone you've never heard of, the cutting of cloth and loss of revenue is all you hear from the board, some poor kid who had a few good games for a village team is built up to be the star singing, you're playing in a league where Rochdale looks like one of the glamour fixtures, yet folk line up in their thousands and put up £hundreds to do it all again. That's impressive. Or mental.

If you try and introduce logic into buying a season ticket year in year out you've no chance I think football us just an addiction!

Football clubs are incredibly lucky that they have a captive set of customers. As supporters we might occasionally withdraw our financial support but we never go shopping anywhere else.
