    Luton have lost 7 players from last season.
    6 of them was on loan and have gone back and they have sold Justin to Leicester.

    I think the difference between us and them is the age and possible improvement our players offer.... We know the drill by now bring them in train them up and keep the books balanced by selling for the right price! We are now signing players on 4/5 year deals which will drive prices up and give us more power in negotiations going forwards.

    Brentford are either funded by high quantities of cash in the bank, a rich owner willing to spend or are spending money they don't have. We don't have the first two so I presume you're suggesting we spend money we don't have.

    These players that want to be at our club...

    They're offered the same money as Pinnock was to sign for Brentford. They'd turn that down to sign for us because they want to be here, or they'd go to Brentford? If it's the latter, and we all know it's the latter, then do they really want to be here? Or is it just that we've made them the best offer. Pinnock got a better offer because he's a better player, but if they got that offer they'd be there too.

    They don't want to be here any more than Pinnock does, they're just not good enough at the moment to get the same kind of offer that Pinnock got.
