Seems inevitble now following the other players leaving wonder if its the agents that are pushy and make the players move so they get a commission on the transfer fee or whether its the family situation with alot of our players being from other parts of the country. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/3...ents-that-barnsley-may-need-to-consider-asap/
As far as I'm aware Moore has 2 years left on his contract. Pinnock and Lindsay both had 1 which is the point at which the club sells those who won't sign
That's good to know maybe he will stay after all. Until sky sports reports it then I guess its just rumours.
Would Sam Winnall come back.... I'm sure it was Hecky he fell out with under Stendel he could well be a success again in a red shirt
Moore really wanted to taste promotion having put the work in himself. He was desperate to get playing at the end of last season. I think he'll stay with us for the time being. If he proves his worth in the championship he can claim a first team spot in a side with a realistic chance of promotion to the Premiership.
Not good enough. Too old. Allegedly a bully with the young un's. Disruptive influence in the dressing room. See where I'm heading?
Think you're right BP. I posted the other day about Winnall sitting near us in the East Stand Lower with a face like a smacked ass. I believe it was because he'd had a fall out with Hecky. Luckily, he was brought back for the run in and he eventually did his bit to get us to Wembley.
does any one on here actually know of the remaining player how many have just a year left in contract to Barnsley.
I think this board is always obsessed with past players returning. Given our disclosed signing policy by the board I think that it is unlikely Winnall will sign for us. As a person with close family links to the Rimmington family, I'm personally not disappointed in that, although I wouldn't boo any Barnsley player, unless they were a declared racist / sex offender, or summat .
Thiam, Cavare, Pinillos, Bird, Mottley-Henry, Radlinger 12 months plus option of one year, Mowatt and Dougall 2 years, Moore, McGeehan, Walton, Adeboyejo
On the official website announcement, it only says a perm transfer and then later on signed up ahead of the 2019/20 campaign. Though there've been numerous articles before that have been ambiguous or inaccurate about contract lengths. Isgrove the most recent.
