Seems odd to me too mate. I think someone on twitter has noticed he's got a Chinese grand parent or something and come up with it.
Went to Preston on loan for three months from us and then joined them on a permanent deal. From there he signed for Doncaster then Fleetwood. In 2014 he played alongside Michael Chopra for Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters under former England keeper David James. The year after he came back to the UK to play for Tranmere Rovers, before returning to India where he has played for three clubs and had another season with Kerala. Last season he played nine games, scoring once, for FC Pune City who are in the Indian Super League and were managed by former Hull and Southend boss Phil Brown.
Thanks for that mate so you’d hope if we offered somewhere between £10-£12k per week it’d be enough for him to join.
He was never the same after the fractured skull. Think he dropped down the leagues & went abroad. Played in India if I remember right
If this is right, he's valued at €1.3 million has a release clause of €2.3 million and he's currently earning €7k a week. It's more than we would normally pay to sign someone but if they really want him, it surely won't deter the Board will it.? https://sofifa.com/player/231344/moussa-kone/19/159404?hl=en-US
