as i'm sat here getting myself around the outside of a nice bottle of red i'm thinking about how far our club has come in the last 12 months from the gut wrenching pain of relegation and who the f**k is daniel stendel and will the new owners improve the club to WOW, automatic promotion with more or less the same group of players but a different style of football that really worked for us, a system of recruitment that people still have a go at but seems at the moment to work ( ok we're going to have the odd failure). players/agents must look at us and realise that this is the way forward and we could be a stepping stone to a big move or greater things within this club, either way the futures bright. we have lost players that d.s. and the board obviously wanted to keep but equally they didnt want to stay, we are bringing in players that look like they could make a fantastic impact on the championship or even premiership ( come on i told you i was drinking a nice red ) who knows ?. i would love to keep big keiffer but thats up to him or a massive offer ( 3m+) for me, but i think the key to the future is getting the gaffer on a longer contract. drunken ramblings of a broken old jedi, may the force be with you
