Can only think that someone has offered us a huge amount for us to even be contemplating him not being here next season.

 

I think to contemplate selling him you have to be getting someone that is even better then him,thing is it don,t look like it,s going to be Kone.

 

We are a bit stuck if Moore leaves and theres no replacement. Bordeaux or Barnsley . I dont think us being on the phone to Kone everyday is going to swing it somehow

 

Surely we're not daft enough to let Moore leave without having a replacement lined up 1st moorestill has 2 years left we don't need to sell. I imagine if Kobe deal falls through so does moore to Bristol or China or wherever he is off.

The 2nd post where he says moore is all but gone?yeah I get that but the club has always said we wouldn't sell unless a replacement is lined up. If the lone deal comes off we will problem go for the next target.
We need to get a replacement before selling moore that's what I was getting at.

 

No the third one which mentions the release clause, which if triggered means that we cannot stop him going if he so wishes

I was in Bordeaux last week. Being totally honest, if I had absolutely no connection to either Bordeaux or South Yorkshire but was given a choice of moving to one or the other, I'm quite sure I'd be choosing Bordeaux. It's a lovely city and region in general. Although the beer there is utter *****. Maybe that will swing it for us? On the downside, he's a native French speaker. If Bordeaux are interested, it's probably not looking good for us.

 

Yeah not giving up in this one just yet but would be shocked if it still comes off. Trust what's been posted by Goldthorpe more than the journos so will wait and see.

 

I have faith that club will have more targets lined up if required. At some point we have to move on though to not delay others.

I’m sure they’ve also learnt after the fiasco with not getting McBurnie deal done first time, and the failure to sign another striker last season as cover for the run-in.

As for Moore - if he’s not gone to Nice, then he’s deffo not part of the squad unless his ‘injury’ means he couldn’t fly. Simple as that for me. Dougall went who’s not quite fully fit but is on the ‘bonding’ session. They’re probably just making sure they’re covered before announcing it and not risking injury by having him train.

 

I'd be surprised if Moore went anywhere until we find a replacement beforehand.
