The guy has lost it making mistakes every race now just rammed verstappen of track to ruin what could have been a good end to the race
Massively overrated driver. Won when Newey was on top form and innovating but was protected by his team who held back Webber and prevented the two competing.
Yep , vettels lost it . Might be time for Ferrari to replace but there's not that much out there drivers wise . Danny Ric would be a good call or lando if their wanting someone else up and coming .
Good racer who is terrible whenever the slightest bit of pressure is put on him, especially the last two year
I think ferrari will persuade him to stop and he ll become the new number 2 a la Kimi . I just don't see a suitable replacement on the grid at the moment . Verstappen won't leave RB and he s the obvious choice .
I read that Ricardo has a release clause in his contract if Ferrari or Mercedes come in for him. He is the obvious replacement if Vettel “retires”
He'd be a good call and a great partner for leclerc . I guess it's in vettels hands should he decide to walk which for me he should . Too many mistakes at this stage of his career . David coultard touched on it with Schumacher near the end of his ......
Good to see mclaren starting to come back Lando defo one for the future Vettel doesn’t like it up him any pressure on him and he makes to many mistakes
Vettel will be out of there at the end of the season if not before. He could not handle the pressure from Hamilton and now he has a new, young teammate who is currently outperforming him and that pressure is continuing to ramp up. In the first few races of this season I believe Vettell was given preferential treatment over Leclerc, but now the Ferrari team see the potential and performance in Leclerc, who appears calm and undeterred when under pressure and Vettel doesn't like that. I also found Vettell's comments regarding Mercedes dominance being "boring" for the sport rather amusing given that he won the drivers world championship for four consecutive years with easily the best car on the grid and a teammate who was not allowed to challenge.
Before his implosion in Canada he'd outqualified Leclerc 6 times to 1 and never qualified outside the front two rows. On the flip side of that coin aside from Monaco he's never bettered his starting grid position, Leclerc showing the same form where he's only moved up once. Then Canada happened. Teddies flew out of the cot and Vettels head fell clean off. Vettel now qualified 7th, 9th and 6th, and finishing 5th, 4th and 16th. Leclerc took advantage and qualified 3rd, 1st and 3rd. Finishing his races in 3rd, 2nd and 3rd While i think it's too early to say Vettels completely lost the faith of Ferrari, the momentum has took a gigantic shift towards Leclerc and Ferrari will be having a shifty look around see if there are and drivers who they can potentially replace Vettel with if he continues to go south.
