You want to try working on a building site surrounded by cornfields wearing a Hi Viz vest, covered in the barstewerds.

Try DJing in a marquee with flashing lights in the middle of nowhere. My arms & legs look like corned beef.

We were at Bempton Cliffs earlier this week. Clouds of the things, absolutely everywhere. At least they don't bite though, unlike the mosquitoes that reside in St Petersburg. I guess that's what you get for moving to a city that was built on a marsh.

I was told that was a reliable antidote to mosquitoes. All I ended up with was extremely sticky sheets (due to the lemon juice, before you ask!)

I'm only assuming, but you'll be wearing the yellow hi Viz vest? We had the same issue last year with them and the vests, we got told by someone swap them for orange. We were all like yeah ok mate, anyway we did, not a bother again from them. Don't know why, but it works!

    European hornets maybe?
One in our house yesterday about 2 inches long. Brown and yellow - European hornet, black and yellow - Asian hornet. The latter are the ones to really worry about and need to be reported if found.
The former are just freetning, cos of their size and noise !
