    Have taken their spending to 120millon 15 million pound central midfielder Douglas Luiz from man city and another center midfielder from brugge for 11 million. I hope conor gets plenty of game time but I expect it will be hard for him.

    He did sign a new contract a month or so ago but not looking likely to be in the 1st choice 11.

    I think they should give the old team a chance first off. If it wasn't for them they wouldn't be in the premiership so they will have the passion.

    They'll get a decent fee for him then, probably end up at Fulham/WBA type club.

    I wouldn't want him back. I'm grateful for all he did for us whilst captain but I'm enjoying watching Mowatt and Mcgeehan growing as a partnership.

    As I did with Hourihane and Scowen but the show must go on.

    I’d guess he’s probably referring to the interview Conor gave after the Leeds game where he said something along the lines of “when a manger like Steve Bruce comes along, you turn your head”.

    Not really anything negative, but after walking out of the ground full of elation for our win, it was a big comedown to hear that he’d said that.

    For what it’s worth, I still love him and would have him back. Won’t happen of course but he’d get straight in our team.
