What is it for everyone else? Lived away for 30 of those years but still managed to get back and season ticket since Premiership... dread to think what it's cost me over the years
Never a season ticket holder till the oughties but hardly missed any home games from early seventies to mid eighties . Miners strike a big factor in that. I’ve never been lucky enough to get a free ticket or an invite into corporate. I’ve been going since mid to late sixties so from about sixty six to present so about fifty three four seasons .
Since the promotion season under Danny the first but due to kids haven't been to Oakwell every season. Hoping son will.aee us promoted to the Premiership under Danny the 2nd!
26 I think. I love Barnsley but football isn't what it was, I really hope the top level eats itself and implodes at some point
Think I was really lucky - came in at the beginning of our golden era with Clarke etc - trips to Wembley, Cardiff, trophies , promotions, top flight football and some famous giant killing acts. Obviously some lows but can count myself lucky to have seen what I have
Started in 74/5, so comng up 45. **** I'm old.Started with Jim Iley & the likes of Mick Butler, Bobby Doyle & Spud Murphy,
Season 52 for me too but still looking forward to coming season. Hoping we give a good account of ourselves and not fighting a relegation battle all season(mi nerves cant stand it nowadays )COYREDS!
Saturday will be the start of my 50th season... guess its time to sit down and work out what I want to be when I grow up
