Burton 3-1 Barnsley He didn't start in the Charlton away game either and we were already 1-0 down before we brought him on. We only lost 7 in total like so a bit difficult to compare and contrast. In the 10 games after his injury we won 4, drew 5 and lost 1, failing to score in 4 of them, which I believe was the worst run of the season.
Yeah so the other 6 defeats came when kieffer was available he also was injured when we beat peterbourgh away 4nil. When we were on the bad run we did have pinnilos, dougall, lindsay injured while that run was on we also had brown n cameron both suspended for 3 games and having only woodrow and kieffer as strikers forced stendel to go more defensive playing woodrow alone. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to say he wont be missed I was one of the few who was defending him this time last year when the knives were out and people were saying he wasnt good enough. If I had a choice I would have rather kept pinnock or lindsay over kieffer but we have lost all 3. A day after Tonge said we weren't looking to sell and no new interest.
The most frustrating thing about this whole debacle is that I’d only just learnt how to spell his first name
Before he signed for us Moore played a starring role in the league below. I’m far from convinced he has what it takes in the Championship. The timing is poor but if we have someone with some pace and an ability to finish lined up will be a good move.
Wasn’t trying to be a dick. Just thought the second left ear or chunk missing out of his chin might give it away.
Yeah it would be silly to do but we should easily have ten million in our accounts. We didn't get to spend the Potts money in January, will have made a few million profit on ins/outs this summer, 3 Luton Town players promotion clauses, two Villa players promotion clauses, McCarthy sell on clause, increase season pass sales, increase TV money etc.
Good old Crusty. Wiganners rejoice in the fact that they're known as " the pie eaters." In all fairness, having done some work over that way a few years ago, they do sell some rey't pies. https://www.wigantoday.net/news/wigan-athletic-reveals-new-mascot-and-it-s-a-giant-pie-1-9912710
Posted this when Wigan were signing Moore.. Looks like the answer to the question of how could they afford to keep splashing the cash is simply... 'They couldn't'.. Have some sympathy for the fanbase on one hand. On the other hand and level playing field perspective, I hope they do a Bolton now...
