Don’t know much about their setup only relating what he always says- that they are set up for a play off finish but do not want premier league football
It really concerned me when I read that yesterday. Not the direction I wanted to see football go, and not the direction I ever want to see our club going. Of course, the EFL will sacrifice the occasional Bury if it means clubs like Derby and Bolton prosper(??).
What also gets me riled up is that the FA is sending someone over to the states so that Rooney can be assessed when he takes his coaching badges so he will be all ready to go by January 1st. They will spend money to see that this happens, but not do anything for smaller clubs who are in trouble.
That’s scary At my guess about 6/7 teams are grossly and recklessly overspending. 3 go up The equation is simple.
