    I know it’s only cup game but the fans deserve better.

    Hopefully the club will be has quick to release a statement apologising to the paying fans tonight .

    I can honestly says that’s the worst I’ve seen us play since Huddersfield away (0-5)

    Couldn't agree more, embarrassing, out played, I'm embarrassed as a fan, I hope Stendel, the players & recruitment staff are also embarrassed. Shocking.

    Seen us struggle too many times in league cup, so made decision to stay at home.

    We have a very good League 1 team just as we had the last time we were in the Championship whether players can develop enough to transition into a good championship team quickly enough is the question.

    I think that the returns of Jacob Brown and Kenny Dougall will make a big difference. Right back worries me most. Sibbick clearly has tremendous potential, but it would be catastrophic if he ended up with his confidence shot because there's no one there to replace him when he's struggling.

    Every season my grandad asks me if we’re off to the cup game and every year we go and regret it fully when we either: a) play horribly or b) it goes on to extra time and penalties and it feels like we are there all night. (I think they’re abolished extra time now though haven’t they?)

    This season we decided we should learn from our mistakes. And I’m so very glad that we did.

    Agree about Brown if I were picking the team it would be him and 10 others. I think Cavare for Sibbick is an obvious change when Pinnilos is fit. Dougall truffles when he came back last time so I’m not expecting much from him before a Christmas. Like last time we have lots of raw talent. That’s both a positive and a negative because it is still raw.

    Felt from beginning we weren't up for it - crowd or players - almost like a training game. Not taking anything away from Carlisle they wanted it more
