    The markings on the back are similar but the legs were black.

    Since me and our lass have moved into our new house we've been over run by spindly spiders with a body that looks like a rivet and long legs. We suck em' up hoover and still they keep appearing. Bathroom is worse for them. I thought they were harvestman but they have single round bodies. These we are encountering have a thorax.

    Most likely a house spider, often called a 'Giant House Spider'.

    They vary in colour a fair bit

    I think you might find that was infact a tiger.

    Daddy long legs make me laugh. They walk around like they just had 10 pints int corner pin and are attempting to find their way up Pitt Street.
