Finally, I could give you some lottery numbers but I’d be guessing wouldn’t I. I be been to all games this season & i’m Not guessing when I say we’ve been shocking & inept in 3 of them. That WILL get us relegated. FACT.
We needed to strengthen the squad to have a realistic chance of survival. It’s been weakened. It’s not rocket science. If we don’t act, please come back to me in May & tell me if you’ll be happy in League 1 again. We may not get out as quickly next time!

For someone with such a well paying job, you have a lot of spare time and you’re not very good with money, considering you said you have it all in a bank account. Foolish thing to do that!

What the owners say and what they do are two different things.. I noticed in the fans zone Saturday Paul Conway giving his sound bites one of which got a cheer when he said Leeds were our feeder club.. He knows which buttons to press..and how to impress In my opinion
we bought into his ideas unfortunately he and the board have done the opposite... Pound to a penny apart from maybe 3 or 4 of the players I'd wager that theyve reduced the wage bill in respect of like for like in who they've brought in to replace players that have left.. Leaving the wage structure to one side.. The amount of spin the owners get away with is unbelievable... The problem is not one of us wants to admit to being gullible nor do we want to face reality of the truth of the situation... instead some are so eager to accept all that the club tell us it becomes a constant battle of wits.to prove otherwise. No one in his or her right mind wants to be wrong let alone admit to it... but there comes a time when you have to take a step back and look at the situation with your head rather than your heart unfortunately some can't do this... Hence this post will be controversial.. I'm Not having a go at any individual... We've all been in this situation during our association following the reds believing the actual spin who can remember that famous quote.. We are going to see a box office signing before the end of the transfer window... Wow... Dion Dublin was the rumoured player he nor any other box office signing arrived..nothing but spin .. I would hazard a guess that most older supporters get what I'm saying.. Once again nothing alters at Oakwell hence its affectionate name Jokewell.. We the supporters are the life's blood without us there's no heartbeat.. The owners play on that emotion hence they sell us short.. Without us the club folds and they know it hence they have us over a barrel... That said allowing them to get away with it is just plain daft.. Unless we ever register our anger and upset re the present situation nothing will ever be done about it... Maybe next time Paul Conway makes a joke about feeder clubs let's in one voice remind him that's what him and his Co directors have turned us into big time because from where I'm standing.. on the field of play this is the weakest we have been for some time.. And that's not the fault of the gaffer nor the players... I therefore suggest Conway and Co stop treating us as if we were born yesterday and if he wants to enhance the fans experience... Go and flip burgers better still go out and get some older heads in with experience of this league... Failing that stick to flipping burgers it's more help full

Whatever ...... Still got it though my friend. Don’t be bitter. But thanks for the warning, now I know another idiot to ignore on the forum (by the way, you’re way off the mark!)

We won't be bringing players who have little to no re sale value.

It gets hard when the player leaves the room after popping the Matt Mills, Mido etc highlight reel DVD in the table. ;-)

I believe we do need experience though particularly in a defensive position and midfield. Maybe we sign on the same wage structure with a stay up bonus? Short term contracts and loanees may be the answer as it would be a clear addition to our existing plan and not a departure from it.
