My daughter does, luckily for us she’s gone to China for the year, where she can get her epilepsy medication. So not bothered anymore, just like those cheering Boris on.
The areas which will be worse effected are those which most enthusiastically voted for it. Poetic justice coming their way.
I can't even decide how it may be pronounced Pro rowg with long o sounds Pro ro gew with short o sounds Looks like a made up word to me
Johnson has played his hand well. Shown more spirit and positive leadership In last few weeks than May did in 3 years. Position adopted with Europe exactly what should have happened in first place with a view to extracting real concessions. Basic negotiation. Upbeat domestic agenda cleverly unveiled along with spending promises. I voted remain and just about remain of that view but I look on in dismay at the unelectable array of goons at the helm of the opposition coalition. I’m also bitterly disappointed at the intransigence of the Europeans who have offered nothing beyond the 3 times rejected deal notwithstanding their awareness of the large British Remain movement. As matters stand I am verging on embracing Brexit rather than continuing to support the collection of clowns looking to misrepresent the prorogue as undemocratic - the reality is 4 less sitting days and ample time to further debate something that has already been debated to death. The real anger arises from the thwarting of yet another attempt to seize control of the business of the House with a view to further preventing that which a majority of the nation voted for. I can’t in all conscience, considering the circumstances in the round, begin jumping up and down about the undemocratic nature of this latest development.
Why should Europe offer anything??! I genuinely don’t understand this. We chose to leave, so it was our process to manage. That gif of Alan Partridge shrugging was, rightly, the EU’s response. Rest assured there will be no concessions; why should there be? The EU has rightly looked to preserve its own interests after we pressed the self-destruct button.
It’s a french word apparently. The brexit lot are currently waiting for Farage to tell them if it’s a french word they like
Hmmm.... shall I take the leave tack and flagrantly lie to get your vote, or be honest and risk not... hmm choices choices ;-)
Ah, I've looked it up, its actually a shortened version of professional rogue. pro... rogue. Used to describe actions of unelected prime ministers that will likely be proven to be unlawful in future
